Advocates, policymakers, community leaders, and others who care about children gathered for Step Up for Kids Regional Conferences to discuss the issues currently facing Kentucky’s kids and families, to learn about the solutions presented in the Blueprint for Kentucky's Children Agenda, and find out how to raise their voices at Children's Advocacy Day and in Frankfort in order to make positive changes.
The conferences in Louisville, Lexington, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky included a presentation on the state of the state's kids, a series of fast and fun presentations on the policy solutions listed in the Blueprint for Kentucky's Children agenda, a legislative panel, and an advocacy roundtable for attendees to talk about how to make a difference for kids during the 2012 General Assembly.
