Children's Advocacy Day at the Capitol

Kentucky continues to rank in the bottom ten among states for child well-being. Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol began in 2004 as an effort to unite advocates from across the state to raise their voices on behalf of children’s safety, health, education and economic well-being.

Hundreds of advocates from over 50 counties now gather at the Capitol in Frankfort every year to ask legislators to invest in kids!

Resources for the next Children's Advocacy Day at the Capitol

  • Print Kentucky Children's Dollars to send to your legislators as a symbol of the need to invest in Kentucky's children (please print double sided).

These can be delivered to legislators at any time throughout the year. Think about getting your local coalitions to fill them out to send on to your elected officials.

  • Visit the Kentucky Homepage and sign-up to track legislation you are interested in.
