Kentucky Economic Watch
Kentucky Economic Watch is an effort from the Kentucky Tax and Budget Initiative to provide consistent and comprehensive analysis of the three most telling data points reflecting the reality of Kentucky's economic climate; state General Fund revenue receipts, the state unemployment rate, and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
One monthly KEW release will include a brief update on SNAP benefits, unemployment and general fund revenues, along with a short commentary on the meaning for Kentucky’s economy.
