Current Projects
Kentucky Youth Advocates is at work on the following legislative advocacy projects:
- Blueprint for Kentucky's Children: Legislators put forth a challenge to state child advocacy groups to develop a cohesive strategic agenda for child well-being. Kentucky Youth Advocates is coordinating a partnership with those groups to craft a six year Blueprint for Kentucky's Children.

- SCHIP: The State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) is up for reauthorization. The decade-old program provides health insurance to over six million children. The program covers kids in working families who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but often can’t afford health coverage.
