2026 Children’s Advocacy Day Recap

Monday March 2 – Kickoff!

We provided reminders for speaking up for kids during Children’s Advocacy Week, updates on Blueprint for Kentucky’s Children priority bills, updates on other bills that are good for kids, and more.

Wednesday March 4 – Town Hall at the Capitol

Youth, advocates, and leaders from across the Commonwealth joined Kentucky Youth Advocates for the 2026 Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol. At the first ever Town Hall on Kentucky Kids, attendees heard remarks from Aleah Stigall, a high school senior from Boyle County, Chris Lindy, CEO of Aetna Better Health of Kentucky, Dr. Terry Brooks and Dr. Shannon Moody of Kentucky Youth Advocates, and a panel of legislators, including Senate President Pro Tem David Givens, House Speaker David Osborne, and Senate Minority Whip Cassie Chambers Armstrong.
